How to become a Colon Hydrotherapist?
Why train with me.....

I’ve been a qualified RICTAT therapist since 2012 and am a RICTAT-verified trainer, as well as the Vice Chair of the RICTAT Colonic Association. Through my clinic, Colonic Trainer By Erica Hartley in Sheffield, I offer high-quality, personalised Colonic Hydrotherapy Training in the UK within a friendly, down-to-earth, and supportive environment.

My training programme is structured to be flexible, accessible, and ideal for anyone looking to build a successful career in Colonic Hydrotherapy. You’ll begin with self-study through our online training portal, followed by four live Zoom theory sessions covering anatomy, physiology, core colonic hydrotherapy principles, and essential gut health foundations. You’ll then complete seven days of in-person, hands-on practical training with me at my clinic, Colonic Trainer By Erica Hartley in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, conveniently located just off the M1 motorway at Junction 35.

The clinic is centrally located within the UK, making it easy for students to travel from all areas. There is also a train station just down the road, and I’m always happy to recommend local accommodation if needed, ensuring your practical training week is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

I’m passionate about guiding new therapists, helping them develop confidence, strong practical skills, and a genuinely client-centred approach to gut health. Watching my students grow throughout their training and thrive in their own practices is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I also offer a wide range of CPD courses for already qualified Colonic Hydrotherapists, including Herbal Enemas, Colon Massage, Laxatives, and bespoke one-to-one development sessions. These CPD options allow you to continue building advanced skills, expanding your knowledge, and staying up to date with the latest techniques in our wonderful world of colonics.

Over the years, I’ve trained students from all over the UK and internationally, as the only in-person requirement is the seven-day practical block—timings of which can be flexible to suit your schedule. Even after you qualify, I remain in touch to offer ongoing advice, support, and encouragement as you grow into a confident and skilled Colonic Hydrotherapist.

If you’re ready to begin your journey, or if you’d like more information, get in touch today and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
